Piri-piri Sacana (Birdeye) is known as a very spicy chilli from Portugal & Angola, also called Malaguetinha because of its small size.
The plants are usually small, but can grow to over 1.5 metres in height if well looked after.
The small fruits, no more than 1 to 2 cm long, have a lot of seeds and sting "like crazy".
Used abundantly in Angolan cuisine, they are also great for drying.
