The Violet Cables Chili comes from the USA and is a beautiful chili with dark green to dark purple foliage, which provides a nice background to the green to violet until black/red ripening, upstanding small chilies.
Pods start out purple and ripen to a mix of red/black they have thin walls and dry out very easy.
This beautiful variety has pods that change four colors. An American variety which is used to be given away as a lucky charm in flower arrangements. plants grow very good in pots with very good yields of red pods. Pods are edible as they are beautiful and have a nice flavor and make good powder.
